10:9. അവൻ യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ നായാട്ടു വീരനായിരുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു: യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ നിമ്രോദിനെപ്പോലെ നായാട്ടു വീരൻ എന്നു പഴഞ്ചൊല്ലായി.

10:9. He was a mighty hunter before the LORD. (That is why it is said, "Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the LORD.")

10:9. Since he was the greatest hunter in the world, his name became proverbial. People would say, "This man is like Nimrod, the greatest hunter in the world."
