29:34. അവൾ പിന്നെയും ഗർഭംധരിച്ചു ഒരു മകനെ പ്രസവിച്ചു: ഇപ്പോൾ ഈ സമയം എന്റെ ഭർത്താവു എന്നോടു പറ്റിച്ചേരും; ഞാൻ അവന്നു മൂന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെ പ്രസവിച്ചുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; അതുകൊണ്ടു അവൾ അവന്നു ലേവി എന്നു പേരിട്ടു.

29:34. She became pregnant again and had another son. She said, "Now this time my husband will show me affection, because I have given birth to three sons for him." That is why he was named Levi.

29:34. Then she became pregnant a third time and gave birth to another son. She named him Levi, for she said, "Surely this time my husband will feel affection for me, since I have given him three sons!"

29:34. And she conceived again, and bare a son. And said, Now this time will my husband be joined unto me, because I have borne him three sons. Therefore was his name called Levi.

29:34. Again she conceived and bore a son, and said, "Now this time my husband will be attached to me, because I have borne him three sons." Therefore his name was called Levi.

29:34. And she conceived again, and bare a son; and said, Now this time will my husband be joined unto me, because I have born him three sons: therefore was his name called Levi.

29:34. Again she conceived and bore a son, and said, "Now this time my husband will be joined to me, because I have borne him three sons"; therefore his name was called Levi.

29:34. Leah became pregnant again and had another son. She named this son Levi. She said, "Now, surely my husband will love me. I have given him three sons."
