8:31. യെരൂശലേമിന്നു പോകുവാൻ ഞങ്ങൾ ഒന്നാം മാസം പന്ത്രണ്ടാം തിയ്യതി അഹവാ ആറ്റിങ്കൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു; ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കൈ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു അനുകൂലമായിരുന്നു; അവൻ ശത്രുവിന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നും വഴിയിൽ പതിയിരിക്കുന്നവന്റെ കയ്യിൽ നിന്നും ഞങ്ങളെ കാത്തു രക്ഷിച്ചു.

8:31. On the twelfth day of the first month we began traveling from the Ahava Canal to go to Jerusalem. The hand of our God was on us, and he delivered us from our enemy and from bandits along the way.

8:31. We broke camp at the Ahava Canal on April 19 and started off to Jerusalem. And the gracious hand of our God protected us and saved us from enemies and bandits along the way.

8:31. Then we departed from the river Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go unto Jerusalem: and the hand of our God was upon us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy and the lier-in-wait by the way.
