9:14. ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്റെ കല്പനകളെ വീണ്ടും ലംഘിക്കയും ഈ മ്ളേച്ഛത ചെയ്യുന്ന ജാതികളോടു സംബന്ധം കൂടുകയും ചെയ്യാമോ? ചെയ്താൽ ഒരു ശേഷിപ്പോ തെറ്റി ഒഴിഞ്ഞവരോ ഉണ്ടാകാതവണ്ണം നീ ഞങ്ങളെ മുടിച്ചുകളയുവോളം ഞങ്ങളോടു കോപിക്കയില്ലയോ?

9:14. Shall we once again break your commandments and intermarry with these abominable peoples? Would you not be so angered by us that you would wipe us out, with no survivor or remnant?

9:14. But even so, we are again breaking your commands and intermarrying with people who do these detestable things. Won't your anger be enough to destroy us, so that even this little remnant no longer survives?

9:14. shall we again break thy commandments, and join in affinity with the peoples that do these abominations? wouldest not thou be angry with us till thou hadst consumed us, so that there should be no remnant, nor any to escape?

9:14. do we turn back to break Thy commands, and to join ourselves in marriage with the people of these abominations? art not Thou angry against us -- even to consumption -- till there is no remnant and escaped part?

9:14. So we know that we must not break your commands. We must not marry those people. They do very bad things. God, if we continue to marry these bad people, we know you will destroy us. Then there would be no one from the Israelites left alive.
