12:43. അവർ അന്നു മഹായാഗങ്ങൾ അർപ്പിച്ചു സന്തോഷിച്ചു; ദൈവം അവർക്കു മഹാസന്തോഷം നല്കിയിരുന്നു; സ്ത്രീകളും പൈതങ്ങളുംകൂടെ സന്തോഷിച്ചു; അതുകൊണ്ടു യെരൂശലേമിലെ സന്തോഷഘോഷം ബഹുദൂരത്തോളം കേട്ടു.

12:43. And on that day they offered great sacrifices and rejoiced, for God had given them great joy. The women and children also rejoiced. The rejoicing in Jerusalem could be heard from far away.

12:43. Many sacrifices were offered on that joyous day, for God had given the people cause for great joy. The women and children also participated in the celebration, and the joy of the people of Jerusalem could be heard far away.

12:43. So on that special day, the priests offered many sacrifices. Everyone was very happy because God had made them happy. Even the women and children were excited and happy. People far away could hear the happy sounds coming from Jerusalem.
