2:16. ഞാൻ എവിടെപ്പോയി എന്നും എന്തു ചെയ്തു എന്നും പ്രമാണികളാരും അറിഞ്ഞില്ല; അന്നുവരെ ഞാൻ യെഹൂദന്മാരോടോ പുരോഹിതന്മാരോടോ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരോടോ പ്രമാണികളോടോ വേലയെടുക്കുന്ന ശേഷം പേരോടോ യാതൊന്നും അറിയിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല.

2:16. The officials did not know where I had gone or what I had been doing, for up to this point I had not told any of the Jews or the priests or the nobles or the officials or the rest of the workers.

2:16. The city officials did not know I had been out there or what I was doing, for I had not yet said anything to anyone about my plans. I had not yet spoken to the Jewish leaders-- the priests, the nobles, the officials, or anyone else in the administration.

2:16. And the rulers knew not whither I went, or what I did; neither had I as yet told it to the Jews, nor to the priests, nor to the nobles, nor to the rulers, nor to the rest that did the work.

2:16. The officials and important Israelites didn't know where I had gone. They didn't know what I was doing. I had not yet said anything to the Jews, the priests, the king's family, the officials, or any of the other people who would be doing the work.
