1:16. അതിന്നു മെമൂഖാൻ രാജാവിനോടും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരോടും ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ: വസ്ഥിരാജ്ഞി രാജാവിനോടു മാത്രമല്ല, അഹശ്വേരോശ്‌രാജാവിന്റെ സർവ്വസംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലുള്ള സകലപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരോടും ജാതികളോടും അന്യായം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

1:16. Then Memucan said in the presence of the king and the officials, "Not only against the king has Queen Vashti done wrong, but also against all the officials and all the peoples who are in all the provinces of King Ahasuerus.

1:16. And Memucan answered before the king and the princes, Vashti the queen hath not done wrong to the king only, but also to all the princes, and to all the people that [are] in all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus.

1:16. Then Memucan said in presence of the king and the princes, "Not only to the king has Queen Vashti done wrong, but also to all the princes and all the peoples who are in all the provinces of King Ahasuerus.

1:16. And Memucan answered before the king and the princes, Vashti the queen hath not done wrong to the king only, but also to all the princes, and to all the peoples that are in all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus.

1:16. And Memucan saith before the king and the heads, `Not against the king by himself hath Vashti the queen done perversely, but against all the heads, and against all the peoples that [are] in all provinces of the king Ahasuerus;

1:16. Then Memucan answered the king with the other officials listening, "Queen Vashti has done wrong. She has done wrong against the king and also against all the leaders and people of all the provinces of King Xerxes.
