1:18. ഇന്നു തന്നെ രാജ്ഞിയുടെ പ്രവൃത്തി കേട്ട പാർസ്യയിലെയും മേദ്യയിലെയും പ്രഭുപത്നിമാർ രാജാവിന്റെ സകലപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരോടും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ പറയും; ഇങ്ങനെ നിന്ദയും നീരസവും അധികരിക്കും.

1:18. And this very day the noble ladies of Persia and Media who have heard the matter concerning the queen will respond in the same way to all the royal officials, and there will be more than enough contempt and anger!

1:18. Before this day is out, the wives of all the king's nobles throughout Persia and Media will hear what the queen did and will start treating their husbands the same way. There will be no end to their contempt and anger.

1:18. And this day will the princesses of Persia and Media who have heard of the deed of the queen say the like unto all the kings princes. So will there arise much contempt and wrath.

1:18. This very day the noble women of Persia and Media who have heard of the queen's behavior will say the same to all the king's officials, and there will be contempt and wrath in plenty.

1:18. [Likewise] shall the ladies of Persia and Media say this day unto all the king’s princes, which have heard of the deed of the queen. Thus [shall there arise] too much contempt and wrath.

1:18. This very day the ladies of Persia and Media who have heard of the queen's behavior will be telling it to all the king's princes, and there will be contempt and wrath in plenty.

1:18. And this day shall the princesses of Persia and Media which have heard of the deed of the queen say {cf15i the like} unto all the king-s princes, So {cf15i shall there arise} much contempt and wrath.

1:18. yea, this day do princesses of Persia and Media, who have heard the word of the queen, say [so] to all heads of the king, even according to the sufficiency of contempt and wrath.

1:18. "Today the wives of the Persian and Median leaders have heard what the queen did, and these women will be influenced by what she did. They will do the same thing to the king's important leaders. And there will be plenty of disrespect and anger.

1:18. This day will the princesses of Persia and Media who have heard of the deed of the queen say the like to all the king\'s princes. So will there arise much contempt and wrath.
