2:21. ആ കാലത്തു മൊർദ്ദെഖായി രാജാവിന്റെ വാതിൽക്കൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ വാതിൽകാവൽക്കാരിൽ രാജാവിന്റെ രണ്ടു ഷണ്ഡന്മാരായ ബിഗ്ദ്ധാനും തേരെശും ക്രുദ്ധിച്ചു അഹശ്വേരോശ്‌രാജാവിനെ കയ്യേറ്റം ചെയ്‍വാൻ തരം അന്വേഷിച്ചു.

2:21. In those days while Mordecai was sitting at the king's gate, Bigthan and Teresh, two of the king's eunuchs who protected the entrance, became angry and plotted to assassinate King Ahasuerus.

2:21. One day as Mordecai was on duty at the king's gate, two of the king's eunuchs, Bigthana and Teresh-- who were guards at the door of the king's private quarters-- became angry at King Xerxes and plotted to assassinate him.
