3:12. അങ്ങനെ ഒന്നാം മാസം പതിമ്മൂന്നാം തിയ്യതി രാജാവിന്റെ രായസക്കാരെ വിളിച്ചു; ഹാമാൻ കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഒക്കെയും അവർ രാജപ്രതിനിധികൾക്കും ഓരോ സംസ്ഥാനത്തിലെ ദേശാധിപധികൾക്കും അതതു ജനത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാർക്കും അതതു സംസ്ഥാനത്തിലേക്കു അവിടത്തെ അക്ഷരത്തിലും അതതു ജനത്തിന്നും അവരുടെ ഭാഷയിലും എഴുതി; അഹശ്വേരോശ്‌രാജാവിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ അതെഴുതി രാജമോതിരംകൊണ്ടു മുദ്ര ഇട്ടു.

3:12. So the royal scribes were summoned in the first month, on the thirteenth day of the month. Everything Haman commanded was written to the king's satraps and governors who were in every province and to the officials of every people, province by province according to its script and people by people according to its language. In the name of King Ahasuerus it was written and sealed with the king's signet ring.

3:12. So on April 17 the king's secretaries were summoned, and a decree was written exactly as Haman dictated. It was sent to the king's highest officers, the governors of the respective provinces, and the nobles of each province in their own scripts and languages. The decree was written in the name of King Xerxes and sealed with the king's signet ring.
