7:8. രാജാവു ഉദ്യാനത്തിൽനിന്നു വീണ്ടും വീഞ്ഞുവിരുന്നുശാലയിലേക്കു വന്നപ്പോൾ എസ്ഥേർ ഇരിക്കുന്ന മെത്തമേൽ ഹാമാൻ വീണുകിടന്നിരുന്നു; അന്നേരം രാജാവു: ഇവൻ എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ അരമനയിൽവെച്ചു രാജ്ഞിയെ ബലാൽക്കാരം ചെയ്യുമോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. ഈ വാക്കു രാജാവിന്റെ വായിൽ നിന്നു വീണ ഉടനെ അവർ ഹാമാന്റെ മുഖം മൂടി.

7:8. When the king returned from the palace garden to the banquet of wine, Haman was throwing himself down on the couch where Esther was lying. The king exclaimed, "Will he also attempt to rape the queen while I am still in the building!" As these words left the king's mouth, they covered Haman's face.

7:8. In despair he fell on the couch where Queen Esther was reclining, just as the king was returning from the palace garden.The king exclaimed, "Will he even assault the queen right here in the palace, before my very eyes?" And as soon as the king spoke, his attendants covered Haman's face, signaling his doom.

7:8. Then the king returned out of the palace garden into the place of the banquet of wine; and Haman was fallen upon the couch whereon Esther was. Then said the king, Will he even force the queen before me in the house? As the word went out of the kings mouth, they covered Hamans face.

7:8. And the king returned from the palace garden to the place where they were drinking wine, as Haman was falling on the couch where Esther was. And the king said, "Will he even assault the queen in my presence, in my own house?" As the word left the mouth of the king, they covered Haman's face.

7:8. Then the king returned out of the palace garden into the place of the banquet of wine; and Haman was fallen upon the bed whereon Esther [was.] Then said the king, Will he force the queen also before me in the house? As the word went out of the king’s mouth, they covered Haman’s face.

7:8. Just as the king was coming back in from the garden to the party room, he saw Haman falling on the couch where Esther was lying. The king said with anger in his voice, "Will you attack the queen even while I am in the house?" As soon as the king had said this, servants came in and killed Haman.
