1:19. പെട്ടെന്നു മരുഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നു ഒരു കൊടുങ്കാറ്റു വന്നു വീട്ടിന്റെ നാലു മൂലെക്കും അടിച്ചു: അതു യൌവനക്കാരുടെമേൽ വീണു; അവർ മരിച്ചുപോയി; വിവരം നിന്നെ അറിയിപ്പാൻ ഞാനൊരുത്തൻ മാത്രം വഴുതിപ്പോന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

1:19. and suddenly a great wind swept across the wilderness and struck the four corners of the house, and it fell on the young people, and they died! And I— only I alone— escaped to tell you!"

1:19. Suddenly, a powerful wind swept in from the wilderness and hit the house on all sides. The house collapsed, and all your children are dead. I am the only one who escaped to tell you."
