17:6. ഞാൻ ഹോരേബിൽ നിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ പാറയുടെ മേൽ നില്ക്കും; നീ പാറയെ അടിക്കേണം; ഉടനെ ജനത്തിന്നു കുടിപ്പാൻ വെള്ളം അതിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടും എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു. യിസ്രായേൽമൂപ്പന്മാർ കാൺകെ മോശെ അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തു.

17:6. I will be standing before you there on the rock in Horeb, and you will strike the rock, and water will come out of it so that the people may drink." And Moses did so in plain view of the elders of Israel.

17:6. I will stand before you on the rock at Mount Sinai. Strike the rock, and water will come gushing out. Then the people will be able to drink." So Moses struck the rock as he was told, and water gushed out as the elders looked on.

17:6. Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.
