9:7. പരിഹാസിയെ ശാസിക്കുന്നവൻ ലജ്ജ സമ്പാദിക്കുന്നു; ദുഷ്ടനെ ഭർത്സിക്കുന്നവന്നു കറ പറ്റുന്നു.

9:7. Whoever corrects a mocker is asking for insult; whoever reproves a wicked person receives abuse.

9:7. Anyone who rebukes a mocker will get an insult in return. Anyone who corrects the wicked will get hurt.

9:7. He that correcteth a scoffer getteth to himself reviling; And he that reproveth a wicked man getteth himself a blot.
