2:19. അവൻ ജ്ഞാനിയായിരിക്കുമോ ഭോഷനായിരിക്കുമോ? ആർക്കറിയാം? എന്തായാലും ഞാൻ സൂര്യന്നു കീഴെ പ്രയത്നിച്ചതും ജ്ഞാനം വിളങ്ങിച്ചതും ആയ സകലപ്രയത്നഫലത്തിന്മേലും അവൻ അധികാരം പ്രാപിക്കും. അതും മായ അത്രേ.

2:19. Who knows if he will be a wise man or a fool? Yet he will be master over all the fruit of my labor for which I worked so wisely on earth! This also is futile!

2:19. And who can tell whether my successors will be wise or foolish? Yet they will control everything I have gained by my skill and hard work under the sun. How meaningless!

2:19. And who knoweth whether he will be a wise man or a fool? yet will he have rule over all my labor wherein I have labored, and wherein I have showed myself wise under the sun. This also is vanity.
