1:13. ഇനി നിങ്ങൾ വ്യർത്ഥമായുള്ള കാഴ്ചകൊണ്ടുവരരുതു; ധൂപം എനിക്കു വെറുപ്പാകുന്നു; അമാവാസ്യയും ശബ്ബത്തും സഭായോഗം കൂടുന്നതും--നീതികേടും ഉത്സവയോഗവും എനിക്കു സഹിച്ചുകൂടാ.

1:13. Do not bring any more meaningless offerings; I consider your incense detestable! You observe new moon festivals, Sabbaths, and convocations, but I cannot tolerate sin-stained celebrations!

1:13. Stop bringing me your meaningless gifts; the incense of your offerings disgusts me! As for your celebrations of the new moon and the Sabbath and your special days for fasting-- they are all sinful and false. I want no more of your pious meetings.
