58:6. അന്യായബന്ധനങ്ങളെ അഴിക്കുക; നുകത്തിന്റെ അമിക്കയറുകളെ അഴിക്കുക; പീഡിതരെ സ്വതന്ത്രരായി വിട്ടയക്ക; എല്ലാനുകത്തെയും തകർ‍ക്കുക; ഇതല്ലയോ എനിക്കു ഇഷ്ടമുള്ള ഉപവാസം?

58:6. No, this is the kind of fast I want. I want you to remove the sinful chains, to tear away the ropes of the burdensome yoke, to set free the oppressed, and to break every burdensome yoke.

58:6. "No, this is the kind of fasting I want: Free those who are wrongly imprisoned; lighten the burden of those who work for you. Let the oppressed go free, and remove the chains that bind people.

58:6. Is not this the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

58:6. "Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke?
