1:16. അവർ എന്നെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കയും അന്യദേവന്മാർക്കു ധൂപം കാട്ടി തങ്ങളുടെ കൈപ്പണികളെ നമസ്കരിക്കയും ചെയ്ത സകലദോഷത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു ഞാൻ അവരോടു ന്യായവാദം കഴിക്കും.

1:16. In this way I will pass sentence on the people of Jerusalem and Judah because of all their wickedness. For they rejected me and offered sacrifices to other gods, worshiping what they made with their own hands."

1:16. I will pronounce judgment on my people for all their evil-- for deserting me and burning incense to other gods. Yes, they worship idols made with their own hands!
