1:5. നിന്നെ ഉദരത്തിൽ ഉരുവാക്കിയതിന്നു മുമ്പെ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അറിഞ്ഞു; നീ ഗർഭപാത്രത്തിൽനിന്നു പുറത്തു വന്നതിന്നു മുമ്പെ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വിശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു, ജാതികൾക്കു പ്രവാചകനായി നിയമിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

1:5. "Before I formed you in your mother's womb I chose you. Before you were born I set you apart. I appointed you to be a prophet to the nations."
