13:16. ഇരുട്ടാകുന്നതിന്നും നിങ്ങളുടെ കാൽ അന്ധകാരപർവ്വതങ്ങളിൽ ഇടറിപ്പോകുന്നതിന്നും മുമ്പെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവെക്കു ബഹുമാനം കൊടുപ്പിൻ; അല്ലെങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങൾ പ്രകാശത്തിന്നു കാത്തിരിക്കെ അവൻ അന്ധതമസ്സും കൂരിരുട്ടും വരുത്തും.

13:16. Show the LORD your God the respect that is due him. Do it before he brings the darkness of disaster. Do it before you stumble into distress like a traveler on the mountains at twilight. Do it before he turns the light of deliverance you hope for into the darkness and gloom of exile.

13:16. Give glory to the LORD your God before it is too late. Acknowledge him before he brings darkness upon you, causing you to stumble and fall on the darkening mountains. For then, when you look for light, you will find only terrible darkness and gloom.

13:16. Honor the Lord your God. Praise him or he will bring darkness. Praise him before you fall on the dark hills. You people of Judah are hoping for light, but the Lord will turn the light into thick darkness. He will change the light into a very thick darkness.
