49:2. ആകയാൽ ഞാൻ അമ്മോന്യരുടെ രബ്ബയിൽ യുദ്ധത്തിന്റെ ആർപ്പുവിളി കേൾപ്പിക്കുന്ന കാലം വരുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു; അന്നു അതു ശൂന്യമായി കല്ക്കുന്നാകും; അതിന്റെ പുത്രീനഗരങ്ങളും തീ പിടിച്ചു വെന്തുപോകും; യിസ്രായേൽ തന്നേ കൈവശമാക്കിയവരെ കൈവശമാക്കും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

49:2. Because you did that, I, the LORD, affirm that a time is coming when I will make Rabbah, the capital city of Ammon, hear the sound of the battle cry. It will become a mound covered with ruins. Its villages will be burned to the ground. Then Israel will take back its land from those who took their land from them. I, the Lord, affirm it!

49:2. In the days to come," says the LORD, "I will sound the battle cry against your city of Rabbah. It will become a desolate heap of ruins, and the neighboring towns will be burned. Then Israel will take back the land you took from her," says the LORD.

49:2. Therefore, behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that I will cause an alarm of war to be heard against Rabbah of the children of Ammon; and it shall become a desolate heap, and her daughters shall be burned with fire: then shall Israel possess them that did possess him, saith Jehovah.

49:2. The Lord says, "The time will come in Rabbah of Ammon when people hear the sounds of battle. Rabbah of Ammon will be destroyed. It will be an empty hill covered with ruined buildings, and the towns around it will be burned. Those people forced the people of Israel to leave their own land. But later, Israel will force them to leave." This is what the Lord said.
