50:38. അതിലെ വെള്ളം വറ്റിപ്പോകത്തക്കവണ്ണം ഞാൻ അതിന്മേൽ വറുതി വരുത്തും; അതു വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെ ദേശമല്ലോ; ഘോരബിംബങ്ങൾ നിമിത്തം അവർ ഭ്രന്തന്മാരായിരിക്കുന്നു.

50:38. A drought will come upon her land; her rivers and canals will be dried up. All of this will happen because her land is filled with idols. Her people act like madmen because of those idols they fear.

50:38. The sword will even strike her water supply, causing it to dry up. And why? Because the whole land is filled with idols, and the people are madly in love with them.

50:38. A drought is upon her waters, and they shall be dried up; for it is a land of graven images, and they are mad over idols.
