50:40. ദൈവം സൊദോമും ഗൊമോരയും അവയുടെ അയൽ പട്ടണങ്ങളും നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞശേഷം എന്നപോലെ അവിടെയും ആരും പാർക്കയില്ല; ഒരു മനുഷ്യനും അവിടെ വസിക്കയില്ല എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

50:40. I will destroy Babylonia just like I did Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighboring towns. No one will live there. No human being will settle in it," says the LORD.

50:40. I will destroy it as I destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring towns," says the LORD. "No one will live there; no one will inhabit it.

50:40. As when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbor cities thereof, saith Jehovah, so shall no man dwell there, neither shall any son of man sojourn therein.

50:40. God completely destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah and the towns around them. In the same way no one will live in Babylon, and no one will ever go to live there.
