7:18. എനിക്കു കോപം വരത്തക്കവണ്ണം അവർ ആകാശരാജ്ഞിക്കു അപ്പം ചുടേണ്ടതിന്നും അന്യദേവന്മാർക്കു പാനീയബലി പകരേണ്ടതിന്നും മക്കൾ വിറകു പെറുക്കുകയും അപ്പന്മാർ തീ കത്തിക്കയും സ്ത്രീകൾ മാവു കുഴെക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

7:18. Children are gathering firewood, fathers are building fires with it, and women are mixing dough to bake cakes to offer to the goddess they call the Queen of Heaven. They are also pouring out drink offerings to other gods. They seem to do all this just to trouble me.

7:18. No wonder I am so angry! Watch how the children gather wood and the fathers build sacrificial fires. See how the women knead dough and make cakes to offer to the Queen of Heaven. And they pour out liquid offerings to their other idol gods!

7:18. This is what the people of Judah are doing: The children gather wood. The fathers use the wood to make a fire. The women make the dough and then make cakes of bread to offer to the Queen of Heaven. The people of Judah pour out drink offerings to worship other gods. They do this to make me angry.
