1:21. ഞാൻ നെടുവീർപ്പിടുന്നതു അവർ കേട്ടു; എന്നെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിപ്പാൻ ആരുമില്ല; എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളൊക്കെയും എന്റെ അനർത്ഥം കേട്ടു, നീ അതു വരുത്തിയതുകൊണ്ടു സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു; നീ കല്പിച്ച ദിവസം നീ വരുത്തും; അന്നു അവരും എന്നെപ്പോലെയാകും.

1:21. They have heard that I groan, yet there is no one to comfort me. All my enemies have heard of my trouble; they are glad that you have brought it about. Bring about the day of judgment that you promised so that they may end up like me!&u05EA; (Tav)

1:21. "Others heard my groans, but no one turned to comfort me. When my enemies heard about my troubles, they were happy to see what you had done. Oh, bring the day you promised, when they will suffer as I have suffered.
