33:6. എന്നാൽ കാവൽക്കാരൻ വാൾ വരുന്നതു കണ്ടു കാഹളം ഊതാതെയും ജനം കരുതിക്കൊള്ളാതെയും ഇരുന്നിട്ടു വാൾ വന്നു അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽനിന്നു ഒരുത്തനെ ഛേദിച്ചുകളയുന്നു എങ്കിൽ, ഇവൻ തന്റെ അകൃത്യംനിമിത്തം ഛേദിക്കപ്പെട്ടുപോയി എങ്കിലും അവന്റെ രക്തം ഞാൻ കാവൽക്കാരനോടു ചോദിക്കും.

33:6. But suppose the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people. Then the sword comes and takes one of their lives. He is swept away for his iniquity, but I will hold the watchman accountable for that person's death.'

33:6. But if the watchman sees the enemy coming and doesn't sound the alarm to warn the people, he is responsible for their captivity. They will die in their sins, but I will hold the watchman responsible for their deaths.'

33:6. But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned, and the sword come, and take any person from among them; he is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood will I require at the watchmans hand.

33:6. "'But what if the guard sees the enemy soldiers coming, but does not blow the trumpet? Since he doesn't warn the people, the enemy will capture them and take them away as prisoners. They will be taken away because they sinned, but the guard will also be responsible for their deaths.'
