34:2. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ഇടയന്മാരെക്കുറിച്ചു പ്രവചിക്ക; നീ പ്രവചിച്ചു അവരോടു, ഇടയന്മാരോടു തന്നേ, പറയേണ്ടതു: യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ മേയിക്കുന്ന യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ഇടയന്മാർക്കു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! ആടുകളെ അല്ലയോ ഇടയന്മാർ മേയിക്കേണ്ടതു?

34:2. "Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy, and say to them— to the shepherds: 'This is what the sovereign LORD says: Woe to the shepherds of Israel who have been feeding themselves! Should not shepherds feed the flock?

34:2. "Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds, the leaders of Israel. Give them this message from the Sovereign LORD: What sorrow awaits you shepherds who feed yourselves instead of your flocks. Shouldn't shepherds feed their sheep?

34:2. Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, even to the shepherds, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe unto the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the sheep?
