11:17. അവൻ തന്റെ സർവ്വരാജ്യത്തിന്റെയും ശക്തിയോടുകൂടെ വരുവാൻ താല്പര്യം വെക്കും; എന്നാൽ അവൻ അവനോടു ഒരു ഉടമ്പടി ചെയ്തു, അവന്നു നാശത്തിന്നായി തന്റെ മകളെ ഭാര്യയായി കൊടുക്കും; എങ്കിലും അവൾ നിൽക്കയില്ല; അവന്നു ഇരിക്കയുമില്ല.

11:17. His intention will be to come with the strength of his entire kingdom, and he will form alliances. He will give the king of the south a daughter in marriage in order to destroy the kingdom, but it will not turn out to his advantage.

11:17. He will make plans to come with the might of his entire kingdom and will form an alliance with the king of the south. He will give him a daughter in marriage in order to overthrow the kingdom from within, but his plan will fail.

11:17. And he shall set his face to come with the strength of his whole kingdom, and with him equitable conditions; and he shall perform them: and he shall give him the daughter of women, to corrupt her; but she shall not stand, neither be for him.
