11:24. അവൻ സമാധാനകാലത്തു തന്നേ സംസ്ഥാനത്തിലെ പുഷ്ടിയേറിയ സ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ വന്നു, തന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോ പിതാമഹന്മാരോ ഒരുനാളും ചെയ്യാത്തതു ചെയ്യും; അവൻ കവർച്ചയും കൊള്ളയും സമ്പത്തും അവർക്കു വിതറിക്കൊടുക്കും; അവൻ കോട്ടകളുടെ നേരെ ഉപായം പ്രയോഗിക്കും; എന്നാൽ കുറെക്കാലത്തേക്കേയുള്ളു.

11:24. In a time of prosperity for the most productive areas of the province he will come and accomplish what neither his fathers nor their fathers accomplished. He will distribute loot, spoils, and property to his followers, and he will devise plans against fortified cities, but not for long.

11:24. Without warning he will enter the richest areas of the land. Then he will distribute among his followers the plunder and wealth of the rich-- something his predecessors had never done. He will plot the overthrow of strongholds, but this will last for only a short while.

11:24. In time of security shall he come even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers fathers; he shall scatter among them prey, and spoil, and substance: yea, he shall devise his devices against the strongholds, even for a time.

He will take things from the countries he defeated, and he will give them to his followers. He will plan to defeat and destroy strong cities. He will be successful—but only for a short time.
