2:18. അന്നാളിൽ ഞാൻ അവർക്കു വേണ്ടി കാട്ടിലെ മൃഗങ്ങളോടും ആകാശത്തിലെ പക്ഷികളോടും നിലത്തിലെ ഇഴജാതികളോടും ഒരു നിയമം ചെയ്യും; ഞാൻ വില്ലും വാളും യുദ്ധവും ഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നു നീക്കി, അവരെ നിർഭയം വസിക്കുമാറാക്കും.

2:18. "At that time I will make a covenant for them with the wild animals, the birds of the air, and the creatures that crawl on the ground. I will abolish the warrior's bow and sword— that is, every weapon of warfare— from the land, and I will allow them to live securely."

2:18. On that day I will make a covenant with all the wild animals and the birds of the sky and the animals that scurry along the ground so they will not harm you. I will remove all weapons of war from the land, all swords and bows, so you can live unafraid in peace and safety.

2:18. And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with the birds of the heavens, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the land, and will make them to lie down safely.

I will break the bow, the sword, and the weapons of war in that land. I will make the land safe, so the people of Israel can lie down in peace.
