1:6. ശക്തിയുള്ളതും സംഖ്യയില്ലാത്തതുമായോരു ജാതി എന്റെ ദേശത്തിന്റെ നേരെ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; അതിന്റെ പല്ലു സിംഹത്തിന്റെ പല്ലു; സിംഹിയുടെ അണപ്പല്ലു അതിന്നുണ്ടു.

1:6. For a nation has invaded our land. There are so many of them they are too numerous to count. Their teeth are like those of a lion; they tear apart their prey like a lioness.

1:6. A vast army of locusts has invaded my land, a terrible army too numerous to count. Its teeth are like lions' teeth, its fangs like those of a lioness.
