23:40. ആദ്യദിവസം ഭംഗിയുള്ള വൃക്ഷങ്ങളുടെ ഫലവും ഈത്തപ്പനയുടെ കുരുത്തോലയും തഴെച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന വൃക്ഷങ്ങളുടെ കൊമ്പും ആറ്റലരിയും എടുത്തു കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ഏഴു ദിവസം സന്തോഷിക്കേണം.

23:40. On the first day you must take for yourselves branches from majestic trees— palm branches, branches of leafy trees, and willows of the brook— and you must rejoice before the LORD your God for seven days.

23:40. On the first day gather branches from magnificent trees-- palm fronds, boughs from leafy trees, and willows that grow by the streams. Then celebrate with joy before the LORD your God for seven days.

23:40. And ye shall take you on the first day the fruit of goodly trees, branches of palm-trees, and boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before Jehovah your God seven days.
