2:7. അവർ എളിയവരുടെ തലയിൽ മൺപൊടി കാണ്മാൻ കാംക്ഷിക്കയും സാധുക്കളുടെ വഴി മറിച്ചുകളകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു: എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം ഒരു പുരുഷനും അവന്റെ അപ്പനും ഒരേ യുവതിയുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെല്ലുന്നു.

2:7. They trample on the dirt-covered heads of the poor; they push the destitute away. A man and his father go to the same girl; in this way they show disrespect for my moral purity.

2:7. They trample helpless people in the dust and shove the oppressed out of the way. Both father and son sleep with the same woman, corrupting my holy name.

2:7. They pushed their faces into the ground and walked on them. They stopped listening to suffering people. Fathers and sons had sexual relations with the same woman. They ruined my holy name.
