6:8. യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു തന്നെച്ചൊല്ലി സത്യം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു: ഞാൻ യാക്കോബിന്റെ ഗർവ്വത്തെ വെറുത്തു അവന്റെ അരമനകളെ ദ്വേഷിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ പട്ടണവും അതിലുള്ളതൊക്കെയും ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും;

6:8. The sovereign LORD confirms this oath by his very own life. The LORD, the God who commands armies, is speaking: "I despise Jacob's arrogance; I hate their fortresses. I will hand over to their enemies the city of Samaria and everything in it."

6:8. The Sovereign LORD has sworn by his own name, and this is what he, the LORD God of Heaven's Armies, says: "I despise the arrogance of Israel, and I hate their fortresses. I will give this city and everything in it to their enemies." (
