7:8. യഹോവ എന്നോടു: ആമോസേ, നീ എന്തു കാണുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു ഒരു തൂക്കുകട്ട എന്നു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു. അതിന്നു കർത്താവു: ഞാൻ എന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ നടുവിൽ ഒരു തൂക്കുകട്ട പിടിക്കും; ഞാൻ ഇനി അവരെ ശിക്ഷിക്കാതെ വിടുകയില്ല;

7:8. The LORD said to me, "What do you see, Amos?" I said, "Tin." The sovereign One then said, "Look, I am about to place tin among my people Israel. I will no longer overlook their sin.

7:8. And the LORD said to me, "Amos, what do you see?" I answered, "A plumb line." And the Lord replied, "I will test my people with this plumb line. I will no longer ignore all their sins.

7:8. And Jehovah said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumb-line. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumb-line in the midst of my people Israel; I will not again pass by them any more;

7:8. And the LORD said to me, "Amos, what do you see?" And I said, "A plumb line." Then the Lord said, "Behold, I am setting a plumb line in the midst of my people Israel; I will never again pass by them;

7:8. And the LORD said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more:

7:8. And the LORD said to me, "Amos, what do you see?" And I said, "A plumb line." Then the Lord said, "Behold, I am setting a plumb line in the midst of my people Israel; I will never again pass by them;

7:8. And the LORD said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel; I will not again pass by them any more:

7:8. and Jehovah saith unto me, `What art thou seeing, Amos?` And I say, `A plumb-line;` and the Lord saith: `Lo, I am setting a plumb-line in the midst of My people Israel, I do not add any more to pass over to it.

7:8. The Lord said to me, "Amos, what do you see?" I said, "A plumb line." Then the Lord said to me, "See, I will put a plumb line among my people Israel. I will not let their 'crooked ways' pass inspection anymore.

7:8. Yahweh said to me, "Amos, what do you see?" I said, "A plumb line." Then the Lord said, "Behold, I will set a plumb line in the midst of my people Israel. I will not again pass by them any more.
