1:12. അവൻ അവരോടു: എന്നെ എടുത്തു സമുദ്രത്തിൽ ഇട്ടുകളവിൻ; അപ്പോൾ സമുദ്രം അടങ്ങും; എന്റെ നിമിത്തം ഈ വലിയ കോൾ നിങ്ങൾക്കു തട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

1:12. He said to them, "Pick me up and throw me into the sea to make the sea quiet down, because I know it's my fault you are in this severe storm."

1:12. "Throw me into the sea," Jonah said, "and it will become calm again. I know that this terrible storm is all my fault."

1:12. And he said unto them, Take me up, and cast me forth into the sea; so shall the sea be calm unto you: for I know that for my sake this great tempest is upon you.
