1:14. എന്നാൽ യഹോവ നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു: നിന്റെ പേരുള്ള സന്തതി ഇനി ഒട്ടു ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല; കൊത്തിയുണ്ടാക്കിയ വിഗ്രഹത്തെയും വാർത്തുണ്ടാക്കിയ ബിംബത്തെയും നിന്റെ ദേവന്മാരുടെ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ നിന്നു ഞാൻ ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും; നീ നിസ്സാരനായിരിക്കയാൽ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ ശവക്കുഴി കുഴിക്കും എന്നു കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

1:14. The LORD has issued a decree against you: "Your dynasty will come to an end. I will destroy the idols and images in the temples of your gods. I will desecrate your grave— because you are accursed!"

1:14. And this is what the LORD says concerning the Assyrians in Nineveh: "You will have no more children to carry on your name. I will destroy all the idols in the temples of your gods. I am preparing a grave for you because you are despicable!"

1:14. And Jehovah hath given commandment concerning thee, that no more of thy name be sown: out of the house of thy gods will I cut off the graven image and the molten image; I will make thy grave; for thou art vile.

1:14. The LORD has given commandment about you: "No more shall your name be perpetuated; from the house of your gods I will cut off the carved image and the metal image. I will make your grave, for you are vile."

1:14. And the LORD hath given a commandment concerning thee, [that] no more of thy name be sown: out of the house of thy gods will I cut off the graven image and the molten image: I will make thy grave; for thou art vile.

1:14. And commanded concerning thee hath Jehovah, `No more of thy name doth spread abroad, From the house of thy gods I cut off graven and molten image, I appoint thy grave, for thou hast been vile.

1:14. King of Assyria, the Lord gave this command about you: "You will not have any descendants to wear your name. I will destroy your carved idols and metal statues that are in the temple of your gods. I am preparing your grave, because your end is coming soon! "

H7043
