3:1. രക്തപാതകങ്ങളുടെ പട്ടണത്തിന്നു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! അതു മുഴുവനും വ്യാജവും അപഹാരവും നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; കവർച്ച വിട്ടുപോകുന്നതുമില്ല.

3:1. Woe to the city guilty of bloodshed! She is full of lies; she is filled with plunder; she has hoarded her spoil!

3:1. What sorrow awaits Nineveh, the city of murder and lies! She is crammed with wealth and is never without victims.
