2:13. ജാതികൾ തീക്കു ഇരയാകുവാൻ അദ്ധ്വാനിക്കുന്നതും വംശങ്ങൾ വെറുതെ തളർന്നുപോകുന്നതും സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ ഹിതത്താൽ അല്ലയോ?

2:13. Be sure of this! The LORD who commands armies has decreed: The nations' efforts will go up in smoke; their exhausting work will be for nothing.

2:13. Has not the LORD of Heaven's Armies promised that the wealth of nations will turn to ashes? They work so hard, but all in vain!

2:13. Behold, is it not of Jehovah of hosts that the peoples labor for the fire, and the nations weary themselves for vanity?

2:13. Lo, is it not from Jehovah of Hosts And peoples are fatigued for fire, And nations for vanity are weary?

2:13. But the Lord All-Powerful has decided that a fire will destroy everything that those people worked to build. All their work will be for nothing.
