11:3. ഇടയന്മാരുടെ മഹത്വം നശിച്ചിട്ടു അവർ മുറയിടുന്നതു കേട്ടുവോ? യോർദ്ദാന്റെ മുറ്റു കാടു നശിച്ചിട്ടു ബാലസിംഹങ്ങളുടെ ഗർജ്ജനം കേട്ടുവോ?

11:3. Listen to the howling of shepherds, because their magnificence has been destroyed. Listen to the roaring of young lions, because the thickets of the Jordan have been devastated.

11:3. Listen to the wailing of the shepherds, for their rich pastures are destroyed. Hear the young lions roaring, for their thickets in the Jordan Valley are ruined.

11:3. A voice of the wailing of the shepherds! for their glory is destroyed: a voice of the roaring of young lions! for the pride of the Jordan is laid waste.
