2:2. നീ എവിടേക്കു പോകുന്നു എന്നു ഞാൻ ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു അവൻ: ഞാൻ യെരൂശലേമിനെ അളന്നു അതിന്റെ വീതി എന്തെന്നും നീളം എന്തെന്നും നോക്കുവാൻ പോകുന്നു എന്നു എന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

2:2. I asked, "Where are you going?" He replied, "To measure Jerusalem in order to determine its width and its length."

2:2. "Where are you going?" I asked.He replied, "I am going to measure Jerusalem, to see how wide and how long it is."

2:2. Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.
