2:15. ലേശംപോലും സുബോധം ശേഷിച്ചിരുന്ന ഒരുത്തൻ ഒരിക്കലും അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല. എന്നാൽ ആ ഒരുത്തൻ എന്തു ചെയ്തു? ദൈവം വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്ത സന്തതിയെ അവൻ അന്വേഷിച്ചു. നിങ്ങളുടെ ഉള്ളിൽ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ; തന്റെ യൌവനത്തിലെ ഭാര്യയോടു ആരും അവിശ്വസ്തത കാണിക്കരുതു.

2:15. No one who has even a small portion of the Spirit in him does this. What did our ancestor do when seeking a child from God? Be attentive, then, to your own spirit, for one should not be disloyal to the wife he took in his youth.

2:15. Didn't the LORD make you one with your wife? In body and spirit you are his. And what does he want? Godly children from your union. So guard your heart; remain loyal to the wife of your youth.

2:15. And did he not make one, although he had the residue of the Spirit? And wherefore one? He sought a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.

2:15. Did he not make them one, with a portion of the Spirit in their union? And what was the one God seeking? Godly offspring. So guard yourselves in your spirit, and let none of you be faithless to the wife of your youth.

2:15. And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.

2:15. Has not the one God made and sustained for us the spirit of life? And what does he desire? Godly offspring. So take heed to yourselves, and let none be faithless to the wife of his youth.
