16:47. മോശെ കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ അഹരോൻ കലശം എടുത്തു സഭയുടെ നടുവിലേക്കു ഓടി, ബാധ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഇടയിൽ തുടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു, ധൂപം കാട്ടി ജനത്തിന്നുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിച്ചു,

16:47. So Aaron did as Moses commanded and ran into the middle of the assembly, where the plague was just beginning among the people. So he placed incense on the coals and made atonement for the people.

So Aaron stood between the dead and those who were still alive. He did the things to make the people pure, and the sickness stopped there.
