3:20. അതുകൊണ്ടു ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളാൽ ഒരു ജഡവും അവന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ നീതീകരിക്കപ്പെടുകയില്ല; ന്യായപ്രമാണത്താൽ പാപത്തിന്റെ പരിജ്ഞാനമത്രേ വരുന്നതു.

3:20. For no one is declared righteous before him by the works of the law, for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.

3:20. For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are.
