7:3. ഭർത്താവു ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവൾ വേറെ പുരുഷന്നു ആയാൽ വ്യഭിചാരിണി എന്നു പേർവരും; ഭർത്താവു മരിച്ചു എങ്കിലോ അവൾ വേറെ പുരുഷന്നു ആയാൽ വ്യഭിചാരിണി എന്നു വരാതവണ്ണം ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽനിന്നു സ്വതന്ത്രയാകുന്നു.

7:3. So then, if she is joined to another man while her husband is alive, she will be called an adulteress. But if her husband dies, she is free from that law, and if she is joined to another man, she is not an adulteress.

7:3. So while her husband is alive, she would be committing adultery if she married another man. But if her husband dies, she is free from that law and does not commit adultery when she remarries.
