1:13. അവനിൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കും നിങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള സുവിശേഷം എന്ന സത്യവചനം നിങ്ങൾ കേൾക്കയും അവനിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കയും ചെയ്തിട്ടു,

1:13. And when you heard the word of truth (the gospel of your salvation)— when you believed in Christ— you were marked with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit,

1:13. And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago.

1:13. in whom ye also, having heard the word of the truth, the gospel of your salvation,-- in whom, having also believed, ye were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,

1:13. In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,

1:13. In whom ye also [trusted,] after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

1:13. In him you also, who have heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and have believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,

1:13. in whom ye also, having heard the word of the truth, the gospel of your salvation,--in whom, having also believed, ye were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,

1:13. in whom ye also, having heard the word of the truth -- the good news of your salvation -- in whom also having believed, ye were sealed with the Holy Spirit of the promise,

1:13. It is the same with you. You heard the true message, the Good News about your salvation. When you heard that Good News, you believed in Christ. And in Christ, God put his special mark on you by giving you the Holy Spirit that he promised.
