20:7. ആരെങ്കിലും ഒരു സ്ത്രീയെ വിവഹാത്തിന്നു നിശ്ചയിച്ചു അവളെ പരിഗ്രഹിക്കാതിരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അവൻ പടയിൽ പട്ടുപോകയും മറ്റൊരുത്തൻ അവളെ പരിഗ്രഹിക്കയും ചെയ്യാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻ വീട്ടിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോകട്ടെ.

20:7. Or who among you has become engaged to a woman but has not married her? He may go home, lest he die in battle and someone else marry her."

20:7. Has anyone here just become engaged to a woman but not yet married her? Well, you may go home and get married! You might die in the battle, and someone else would marry her.'
