8:5. ഒരു മനുഷ്യൻ തന്റെ മകനെ ശിക്ഷിച്ചുവളർത്തുന്നതു പോലെ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിന്നെ ശിക്ഷിച്ചുവളർത്തുന്നു എന്നു നീ മനസ്സിൽ ധ്യാനിച്ചുകൊള്ളേണം.

8:5. Be keenly aware that just as a parent disciplines his child, the LORD your God disciplines you.

8:5. Think about it: Just as a parent disciplines a child, the LORD your God disciplines you for your own good.

8:5. You must remember that the Lord your God teaches and corrects you as a father teaches and corrects his son.

8:5. You shall consider in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so Yahweh your God chastens you.
