1:13. നമ്മെ ഇരുട്ടിന്റെ അധികാരത്തിൽ നിന്നു വിടുവിച്ചു തന്റെ സ്നേഹസ്വരൂപനായ പുത്രന്റെ രാജ്യത്തിലാക്കിവെക്കുകയും ചെയ്ത പിതാവിന്നു സന്തോഷത്തോടെ സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യുന്നവരാകേണം എന്നും അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

1:13. He delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of the Son he loves,

1:13. God made us free from the power of darkness. And he brought us into the kingdom of his dear Son.
