11:12. അതുകൊണ്ടു ഒരുവന്നു, മൃതപ്രായനായവന്നു തന്നേ, പെരുപ്പത്തിൽ ആകാശത്തിലെ നക്ഷത്രങ്ങൾ പോലെയും കടല്പുറത്തെ എണ്ണിക്കൂടാത്ത മണൽപോലെയും സന്തതി ജനിച്ചു.

11:12. So in fact children were fathered by one man— and this one as good as dead— like the number of stars in the sky and like the innumerable grains of sand on the seashore.

11:12. And so a whole nation came from this one man who was as good as dead-- a nation with so many people that, like the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore, there is no way to count them.

11:12. wherefore also there sprang of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of heaven in multitude, and as the sand, which is by the sea-shore, innumerable.

11:12. Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born descendants as many as the stars of heaven and as many as the innumerable grains of sand by the seashore.

11:12. Abraham was so old he was almost dead. But from that one man came as many descendants as there are stars in the sky. So many people came from him that they are like grains of sand on the seashore.

11:12. Therefore as many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as innumerable as the sand which is by the sea shore, were fathered by one man, and him as good as dead.
